Bank Fraud
Recently, two employees of Arvest Bank were found guilty of defrauding customers of the bank. Rhonda Harris, a former Wagoner, Oklahoma bank manager for Arvest Bank, pled guilty to money laundering and embezzling in excess of $5.5 million over a period of 25 years. More than 80 people were victims of Ms. Harris’s scheme.
In addition, Jimmy Woodrow Eubanks, a former branch president of the Arvest Bank in Stilwell, Oklahoma pled guilty to bank fraud. Eubanks defrauded Arvest Bank customers of more than $250,000 in 2003 and 2004 by establishing loans in the customers’ names without their knowledge and permission.
